The short version
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from a third-party server — the fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google. We do not build a profile of you, and nothing you read here is shared with an advertiser.
Reading a page does, unavoidably, involve your browser making requests to our host. What that entails is set out below.
Hosting, and what a request records
This site is hosted by Vercel, which serves it from data centres around the world. Fetching a page sends your IP address, the address you asked for, and your browser's user-agent string to Vercel's servers, in the same way as visiting any website. Vercel processes that as our service provider, and records it in operational logs used to serve the site, keep it available, and mitigate attacks.
Those logs are retained for a limited period under Vercel's own policy and are not used by us for analytics, profiling or marketing. We do not export them, join them to anything else, or attempt to identify individual readers from them. See the Vercel privacy policy for their handling and retention.
Article images may be served from an Amazon S3 bucket we control, in which case the same kind of request information reaches Amazon Web Services as our service provider.
What is stored in your browser
Nothing. There are no cookies, no analytics identifiers and no session storage on the public pages. Clearing site data for this domain removes nothing, because there is nothing to remove.
The one exception is the editor sign-in at /admin, which sets an authentication cookie for CareFlick staff who log in to publish articles. It is not set for visitors and is not used for tracking.
Booking a discovery call
The demo form asks for your name, work email, company name, the number of seniors you care for, your city and country, and how soon you are looking to adopt senior living software. It also records which page you opened the form from, so we know what prompted the enquiry.
When you submit it, that information is sent to our server and passed straight on to a Google Sheet we use to track enquiries. Google processes it under its own terms as a service provider to us. The submission is not stored on our servers; the row in the sheet is the only copy we keep, and we keep it for as long as we are following up with you.
If the connection to that sheet fails, the form says so and offers you a link that prepares an email to hello@careflick.com containing what you typed. Nothing is sent that way unless you follow the link and send it yourself.
Please do not enter resident names, health details or staff records in this form. It exists to arrange a conversation and is not a safe place for that information.
If you write to hello@careflick.com we keep the message so we can reply and follow up on your enquiry.
Articles and the blog
Beyond the hosting request described above, reading an article records nothing about you. Articles are written by the CareFlick team in a content management system that runs on this same domain; it holds our own drafts and editor accounts, and nothing about the people who read the published result.
Limiting abuse of the form
To stop the demo form being submitted automatically in bulk, our server counts recent submissions per IP address and refuses too many from the same place. The count is held in memory for a few minutes and then discarded. It is never written to disk, never linked to a submission, and never used for any other purpose.
Your rights
This website holds no account for you and builds no profile, so there is usually little to give you beyond what is described above. For anything we do hold — an email you sent us, or a discovery request you submitted — you can ask for a copy, a correction, or deletion by writing to hello@careflick.com. If you are in the UK or EU you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
The product, and the company
This notice is about the website. The Nova platform itself, and the resident data an operator puts into it, are covered by the agreement with that operator. The CareFlick AI companion has its own policy. See the CareFlick privacy policy for those.
